KINGS DYKE NATURE RESERVE **EVENT POSTPONED**

Due to the current weather forecast for this weekend (wet!), we have unfortunately taken the decision to postpone the official BioBlitz event until later in the summer.
If you still wish to visit the reserve, please feel free to do so and we will welcome your species records. The official event’s new details will be uploaded as soon as we can schedule in an alternative.
Many thanks for your support and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Join us for our 48 HOUR BIOBLITZ!

Commencing Friday 21st July @ 6pm until Sunday 23rd July @ 6pm, 2023

48 hours, recording as many species as possible!

Everyone is welcome to come along and join in. Arrive/depart at any time during the 48-hour period.

Photograph any species you require help identifying. The more the merrier!

We would also welcome any recorders who specialise in groups which we cannot cover ourselves.

Examples of these groups are:

* Bryophytes        * Fungi

* Galls                    * Any other unusual groups!

The current total for the reserve to date is 3200 species records. 90 of these were new species for the reserve, recorded during last year’s bioblitz. Let’s record some more!

Please meet at the gazebo (reserve entrance) where Phil will be logging records.

We look forward to seeing you there!
