Here is a selection of the wildlife seen and recorded by members on the reserve last week.
Most of the Common Terns and the fledged youngsters have left the island. The few that remain, including the three pictured here by member Terry Mckenna, will probably depart over the next two or three days.
The common terns have successfully bred for another consecutive year and can be seen on the central island from the main bird hide. A few have now started to leave but there are still several pairs present.
